What is an Ookpik?

An Ukpik (ookpik) is the Inuktitut word for a snowy owl. It is also the name of our highest level of support. To see the inspiration behind our choice, check out the NFB website article about Co Hoedeman's two works: the owl and the lemming and the owl and the raven.

While both were made in the 70's and contains outdated terminology, it still holds its charms.
